“Coming on like Fleetwood Mac covering dEUS via Fugazi and early Verve, Horse Party got together after a night spent drinking in a church. Ellie Langley, Seymour Quigley and Shannon Hope were united in a love of Bjork, Savages, Daughter and terrible movies. Two self-released singles and an EP in early 2013 led to support offers with alt-stars Tunng, Pinkunoizu, Ghostpoet, Shonen Knife, The Nightingales, Heartless Bastards, Dingus Khan, Vuvuvultures and Tied To The Mast, and an invitation to play at the first ever live broadcast via BBC Introducing from the new John Peel Centre for Creative Arts”.

Horse Party’s debut album sets a distinctive territorial tone through their gently built intros and the exuberantly stabbed guitar sound, this is a highly significant evolution in post-Indie ideas. The trio use influences ranging from sumptuously expressed Indie to a balanced blast of smouldering alternative rock – With a intuitive view to poignant lyrics, Horse Party’s debut long player ‘Cover Your Eyes’ is a glowing testament to the UK’s thriving music scene.

“In October 2013, Horse Party signed with ace UK independent label Integrity Records. A new single, ‘What Do You Need’, was released on Monday 11th November 2013, picking up airplay from XFM and Amazing Radio. Horse Party’s debut album, ‘Cover Your Eyes’, will be released on Monday 7th April 2014″.
